The Edible Book Festival

Have you ever seen (or eaten) an edible book? If not, you may want to attend this year's Edible Book Festival, which will be held on the afternoon of April 1 at 826 Seattle, 8414 Greenwood Avenue North in Seattle.

My husband and I participated in this event last year with our entry, The Catcher in The Rye. All the entries are set up between one and two o'clock and at two the viewing begins. Then, at three, everybody eats the books! We saw and ate lots of amazing creations, including The Incredible Lightness of Bean, Their Ryes were Watching Gouda, Peeps Like a River, and many others. If you are looking for a good literary time, that's fun for adults and kids alike, check it out!

Oh my gosh, that sounds so fun! Food, books and literary puns...it doesn't get any better than that. Thanks for sharing.
